RFU DISCIPLINE MEETINGS TO BE HELD IN JUN 13 – REQUEST FOR ARMY RUGBY
The RFU Discipline department is planning on holding 6 regional training/accreditation meetings across England throughout June this year to review this season and look at plans for the season ahead.
The meetings will be held at six regional locations to tie in with each of the new RFU Areas (1-6 as listed below with provisional meeting venues). The RFU aim to hold the meetings on a week day (see dates below) and each training day will start at 1000hrs. The meeting will comprise a full day’s training/update session to include lunch for all attendees, hopefully being away by 1600hrs.
The Army Rugby Union is being allocated 5 places, 2 of which should ideally be taken by the Chairman (Col Underhill) and Disciplinary
Secretary (Mr Chris Fowke). The remaining 3 places should primarily be given to new members interested in participating in ARU discipline panels who therefore require accreditation, than to those (already accredited members) who wish to attend as a refresher.
Depending on the uptake of places, there may be a possibility that CBs i.e the ARU could send more than 5 people.
For those involved in a constituent body – i.e the Army Rugby Union, RAF, RN etc, we are free to attend whichever meeting is most convenient to the individual.
