Last week saw the second Army Medical Services Festival of Rugby take place, competing for the Harris and Harriet Cups at St George’s Barracks, kindly hosted by the team at 1 Military Working Dog Regiment.

Over 50 competitors took part in a fantastic tournament with both old and new players taking to the field in both contact and tag rugby, culminating in a fiercely competitive final. Memories and friendships were made over the three days and thanks to the generous contributions from both the AMS SU and ARU, we were able to deliver an even bigger and better event than last year.

Overall the festival was a success and on behalf of the AMS leadership and management team, I would like to thank you all for your engagement, the release of players and support team and we look forward to planning and delivering another highlight event on the sporting calendar next year.
