Army U23s 2025 Inter Service Squad Announcement

Pte Junior Bulumakau (SCOTS), Head Coach to the Army U23s team, along with the squad’s coaching and management staff are pleased to announce the selection of the following players for the 2025 Inter Service Championship.

Competition for selection was extremely fierce, many congratulations to all those selected.

The details for Army U23s 2025 Inter Service matches are as follows;

Wednesday 19th November 2025 – Royal Navy U23s v Army U23s – Burnaby Road, Portsmouth – KO 1900hrs

Friday 5th December 2025 – Army U23s v Royal Air Force U23s – Cardiff Arms Park – KO 1900hrs

Director of Rugby, Lt Col David Falconer (FUSILIERS) commented;

“We are proud to announce this year’s Army U23 Inter Service squad, following a demanding and highly focused build-up to the competition. The squad brings together exceptional talent, combining significant Academy experience with a strong mix of ranks and a core group of returning players from last season.

Under the outstanding leadership of Pte Bulumakau, the coaching team has worked tirelessly to develop and refine this talented group of players. Throughout our preparation, the players have grown both on and off the pitch, using challenging fixtures against Reading RAMS, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and Cambridge to build solid foundations. The tireless efforts of the coaches and management team have forged strong bonds across the squad.

The recent hard-fought victory over Cardiff Met University in Cardiff has given the squad real confidence heading into our opening fixture. We now look forward to the challenge of the Inter Service competition and the opportunity to showcase the hard work, resilience and commitment of this exceptional group of players.“
