After the celebrations of last week’s Twickenham extravaganza it is back to club action for a number of Army Senior players.

Cpl Lewis Bean (Rifles) has packed his passport and headed to France with his Glasgow Warriors team mates to face Lyon in the European Challenge Cup quarter finals.

Glasgow have already booked their top eight place in the United Rugby Championship and are looking to take that form into the European arena.

However they are heading to one of the most challenging venues in the competition, with Lyon currently fifth in the Top 14 and unbeaten in their last three matches.

Cpl Bean is on the bench for this must-win clash, which can be watched on BT Sport from 2000hrs on Saturday.

By then Gnr Senitiki Nayalo (7 Para RHA) will know whether his domestic season will continue for at least one more match.

The Army Navy try scorer lines up at number eight for Coventry, who welcome Doncaster Knights to Butts Park Arena for the second leg of their Championship Cup quarter final.

Coventry take a 13-point aggregate lead into the match, having stunned the Knights 35-22 at Castle Park in last weekend’s first leg.

Doncaster have not found the west midlands a happy hunting ground in recent visits, and lost 39-22 in the league back in September. But they were one of the season’s form teams, pushing Ealing all the way in the league and earning their quarter final spot courtesy of a cracking win in Cornwall last time out.

For the winner a semi-final place awaits, for the loser it is time for a summer break and early preparation for 2022/23. Kick off at Butts Park Arena is at 1500hrs on Saturday.

In the Premier 15s there is a return for Capt Gemma Rowland (RA) into Wasps colours after her spell with Wales during the Six Nations.

Capt Rowland did not see action on the international front, so she will be raring to go for her club, who head west to take on Gloucester-Hartpury on Saturday (KO 1400hrs).

With two rounds of matches to go Wasps still have a small hope of reaching the semi-finals, but they will need a bonus point win at the Alpas Arena and other results to go their way if they are to stay in contention.

It has been nearly two months since either team was in league action, so there is precious little form guide to take into consideration, but with promising weather forecast expect some fast and furious action!
