BAG swansong for Former Army Skipper Capt Mark Lee AGC (ALS)

The former Army skipper Capt Mark Lee AGC (ALS) will play his last game in the Services before retiring to become a farmer when he leads British Army Germany XV (BAG) versus a Rugby For Heroes (RFH) XV on Saturday 18 th Aug 12 at Sennelager’s Dempsey Barracks. Combined Services and Army stalwart Lee was delighted to be appointed as the BAG skipper for this pre season friendly and is looking forward to the occasion and going out on a high. BAG Head Coach SSgt Chris Williams RAPTC (1 YORKS) will look to Lee to help ease the BAG XV back onto representative rugby after an 14 month break due to operational commitments.

SSgt Williams said “Mark Lee will offer the experience, clarity of thought and the leadership that this young team will need. I don’t know what level the RFH XV will be at but I know that from having coached Mark before that he will drive this team and set the right example from the first to the last whistle”.
The action starts at 1400hrs at Dempsey Barracks Sennelager courtesy of the Commanding Officer QDG.
