The 2020/21 Premier 15s kicked off last weekend and the Army was represented in Harlequins’ perfect start.
Bdr Bethan Dainton (Royal Artillery) lined up on the flank in Quins’ starting line-up for their opening round clash with DMP Durham Sharks at the Twickenham Stoop, and it turned out to be a memorable afternoon for the hosts.
Harlequins ran in 15 tries en route to a 103-0 victory over the northerners, an ideal marker as they look to go one better than their runners-up position in the last two completed campaigns.
There is a full round of matches this coming Saturday and we’ll be hoping for more Army involvement across the competition!
