VACANCY FOR THE ARU WOMENS BACKS COACH AND ANALYSIS LEAD

Applications are invited for a Backs Coach and Analysis Lead for the Army Rugby Union Women’s team.

The ARUW are seeking a Backs Coach and Analysis Lead to join the coaching team, working under the Head Coach to develop players’ ball skills, with a particular focus on the backs.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring coaches to develop their skills in a high-performance, competitive, and high-profile environment. ARUW is committed to coach development, which will remain a key focus throughout the season.

The successful applicant should be willing to challenge players and coaching staff, while also being open to challenge and development themselves.

 

QUALIFICATION, RANK AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA

 

  • Applicants must hold an ERCA/Level 2 coaching award or above. The role also provides an opportunity to progress towards ERACA, if deemed appropriate.
  • Applicants should understand game analysis and be prepared to work with other coaches using Frame Sport to deliver high-quality analysis sessions for the squad. They should also demonstrate innovation and a commitment to continuing professional development.

 

COMMITMENT

Applicants should be able to commit time outside the core fixture list to watch additional games and support the coaching team in developing the game plan.

Length of Tenure – minimum commitment of 2 years preferable but to be discussed
