Army Rugby Union are pleased to announce the signing of dynamic back-row forward Sapper Lauren Brooks with Harlequins for the 2024/25 season.
Brooks, who previously enjoyed a five year spell with Harlequins Women before moving to Ealing Trailfinders last season, is set to rejoin the squad, bringing her exceptional skill set, experience, and leadership back to The Stoop. With her strong ball-carrying ability, defensive prowess, and relentless work ethic, Brooks is expected to be a key asset as the team aims to build on last season’s success and compete for top honors in the Allianz Premier 15s.
Sapper Lauren Brooks, a reservist with 75 Engineer Regiment, has represented the Army at both 7s and 15s. She has completed two Inter Service campaigns, assisting the Army win the title on both occasions. A versatile back row forward she is a formidable ball carrier around the park, Brooks consistently demonstrates her commitment to excellence, both on and off the field.
Her return marks a significant boost for Harlequins Women as they prepare for what promises to be an exciting and highly competitive season. Fans will undoubtedly look forward to seeing her back in the famous Quins quarters at The Stoop soon.
