We are pleased to be able to advise that Representative Rugby, Corps level and above, has been approved for resumption from the 17th May by Army HQ and HQ Army Sport Control Board in line with the RFU Return to Rugby Roadmap.
Unit rugby activity is authorised by the Commanding Officer in accordance with ABN 036/2021
All representative fixtures currently continue to require authorisation from HQ ASCB.
Corps and Representative teams that wish to train and play rugby must be affiliated to the ARU and submit an Admin Instruction for events along with a Generic Risk Assessment and RFU Covid-19 coaching risk assessment – Jun 20 to the ARU COO Chris Fowke NLT 14 days prior to the event to be submitted for approval to HQ ASCB.
All requests will be notified in writing with either authorisation or steps of further action required.
Without authorisation from HQ ASCB Corps and Representative teams are unable to train and play rugby.
