Roko Solid for England

Royal Scots Dragoon Guards’ LCpl Semesa Rokoduguni opened his England account in probably the most iconic of all matches—England v New Zealand. He, his Regiment and Army rugby attracted rave reviews in the week before walking out at Twickenham and we were not to be disappointed. The fact that England lost 24 pts—21 and it avalanched with rain hardly dampened a superb occasion. What was mystifying to 84,000 packed into HQ and millions worldwide on TV was that the only time Roko received the ball was from the heavens, courtesy of the All Blacks.

He clamped down on Julian Savea (probably the best winger in the World), put in the big hits, fielded the high ball situation to perfection and distributed well but ‘oh so flippin ‘eck’ why was the in-form player of the Premier League not given the ball by his England mates to run at the Blacks?

Ps Don’t bother to respond — I think I know the answer!!
