Rugby festival keeps primary pupils active.

PLAYERS from five Forres ASG primary schools lined out at a rugby festival on the Kinloss playing fields.

Anderson’s, Applegrove, Dyke, Kinloss and Pilmuir P7 pupils formed 10 teams of ruggers who, with the assistance of Moray rugby development officer George Whitecross, took part in a morning training session and competition.

The event was hosted by 39 Engineer Regiment and Kinloss Eagles Rugby Club. “The aim was to encourage the children to be more healthy and active,” said Mr Whitecross.
