Scotland Select Two Army Players

The Scottish Rugby Union has selected two Army players to play in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens series starting in Wellington, New Zealand on 30-31 January 2016.

Joe Nayacavou [Royal Regiment of Scotland] has been a member of the International 7s squad for over 3 years.

He is joined in New Zealand by Junior Bulumakau [Royal Regiment of Scotland] who is currently playing with Glasgow Warriors. His father was a member of the Royal Scots and a Fiji international 7s player who starred in the winning Army teams at the Middlesex 7s in 2001 and 2004.

Both players are Army XVs caps and have carried out operational tours in Afghanistan.

Remember—it is 200 days to the Rio Olympics—WOW for what that might mean!
