On the 2nd May 2020, the Army and Royal Navy Women’s Rugby Teams were due to make history by playing their Army v Navy Inter Services fixture at Twickenham Stadium for the first time.

Due to the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent impact on sports fixtures, this match will no longer take place.  However, both the Army and Royal Navy Women’s rugby teams have decided to join forces and use this historic date to raise money in support of the fantastic healthcare workers on the nation’s frontline.

On the 2nd May, both teams will work together, from their own homes and units to complete 82,000 Burpees; the number equivalent to the crowd of Twickenham Stadium.  Their aim is to raise £10,000 for NHS Charities Together (registered charity no. 1186569).

We will posting updates on the members of the squad with details of how many burpees they are each pledging to complete.
