Captain Gareth Slade-Jones (RAPTC), Head Coach to the Army U23s team, along with the squad’s coaching and management staff are pleased to announce the selection of the following players for the 2023 Inter Service Championship.
Competition for selection was extremely fierce, many congratulations to all those selected.
The details for Army U23s 2023 Inter Service matches are as follows;
Wednesday 22nd November 2023 – Royal Navy U23s v Army U23s – Portsmouth – KO 1900hrs
Wednesday 29th November 2023 – Army U23s v Royal Air Force U23s – Aldershot – KO 1900hrs
Director of Rugby, Major Sam Richardson (AGC) commented;
‘We are excited by the talent selected for the U23 squad this year after the open trial & subsequent fixtures were attended by over 80 players. Our attention now turns to preparing for the Inter Service fixtures where we know we will meet two strong Royal Navy & Royal Air Force sides who came out on top last year.’
