The Army Rugby Union Referee Society will run an England Rugby Refereeing Award (ERRA) on 20 – 21 March 2023 at the Aldershot rugby stadium. The course cost is £75.
The details are on the ARURS page of our website. To book onto the course click on the book here link. This will take you to the RFU booking system (GMS) where you will need to set up an account and then book the course.
The ARURS offer is that if you complete the ERRA and officiate two games for the Army, the society will refund the cost of the course and provide free kit if you join the ARURS for £10 a year – Link.
Course loading closes 10 days before the course and the RFU then sends the list of participants admin instructions which can then be used to book travel and accommodation if required.
The course is two days long but we have the ARU Community cup finals on Wednesday 22 March in Aldershot. So if you can afford the time to stay on for that day you may get a chance to use your new found skills and Assistant Referee (AR – or running the line) on one of the games.
