Pte Ratu ‘Siva’ Naulago (Yorks) will be looking to cast away the memories of months of frustration this weekend when he returns to action for Bristol Bears.

The exciting and powerful winger has been away from the field since April 2022, but he is fit and available for the Bears’ European Rugby Challenge Cup trip to Zebre Parma on Saturday.

Bristol won the Challenge Cup in October 2020 and are unbeaten so far in this season’s campaign, beating both Zebre Parma and Perpignan in December. However the format of the competition means that they will need to keep on in the winning habit if they are to get an all-important home tie when the knockout stages come around in the spring.

In the Championship, Gnr Senitiki Nayalo (7 Para RHA) lines up at number eight for Coventry, who host Jersey Reds in a highly anticipated clash between the league’s third and second-placed clubs.

Ealing’s slip-up at Caldy last weekend opens the door for Jersey to close the gap in the race for the top spot, but Coventry are on a good run of form, too, having won six of their last seven matches in the league. Butts Park is also likely to be full of emotion following the passing of club legend, David Duckham, earlier in the week.
