Gnr Senitiki Nayalo (7 Para RHA) earned red shirt bragging rights over Sgt Dan Lewis (RAMC) in the Championship clash between Coventry and London Scottish this past weekend.

The two teams went head-to-head at the Richmond Athletic Ground on Saturday, with Gnr Nayalo starting for Coventry and Sgt Lewis a second half replacement for London Scottish.

It was a thrilling clash which offered plenty of entertainment for the fans who had travelled to south west London.

The Exiles belied their status as the Championship’s bottom side to come firing out of the blocks, getting a try with just two minutes on the clock. This was followed by two more five-pointers in the next 10 minutes to pull Scottish out to a 19-0 lead.

But Coventry have been in this situation several times already this season, and when they got on the scoreboard themselves at the end of the opening quarter it sparked a revival which took the visitors to a 24-22 lead at the break.

This became 29-22 a couple of minutes after the restart, and then Coventry went on to keep the Exiles at arms length throughout the remainder of the second half, 46-32 the final score.
