Sgt Matt Dawson (Int Corps) will win his 50th Cambridge cap when he steps off the bench against Championship rivals Cornish Pirates at Volac Park tomorrow (2pm).

The Blood & Sand picked up their first-ever win in the second tier with a dramatic last-gasp success at London Scottish before Christmas, and back row Sgt Dawson will be looking to help them kick off 2024 in style as he also celebrates an impressive milestone.

In National One, LCpl Pita Ratukadreu (REME) starts on the wing for a Plymouth Albion side hoping to bounce back from their previous shock defeat at Taunton Titans.

The third-placed Devonians are unbeaten at home this season and welcome Bishop’s Stortford to Brickfields (3pm).

Spr Lauren Brooks (RE) is again among the replacements for Trailfinders Women as they host Gloucester-Hartpury in the Premier 15s (4.45pm).

The game is part of a doubleheader with Ealing men welcoming Caldy in The Championship beforehand (2.30pm), and fifth-placed Trailfinders will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways having lost 38-19 at high-flying Exeter Chiefs on Sunday.
