Cpl Louise Dodd (QARANC) and Capt Gemma Rowland (RA) will be seeking to help Wasps Women get their first win of their Allianz Cup campaign this Saturday in a home London derby against Harlequins.

Capt Rowland returns to her more familiar position of centre for her second successive start, having played at fly half for last weekend’s loss away to Bristol. Cpl Dodd replaces her red shirt team mate in the number 10 shirt.

Harlequins make the short trip to Twyford Avenue with a perfect record of two wins from their two Cup matches played to date, but the clubs share the same record in the league of three wins and two losses from their five matches.

This is the first time that Wasps and Quins will have gone head-to-head since last season’s semi-final, which Harlequins won 25-14 on the way to the title. Both clubs have players away on international duty, so this is an ideal time for the rest of the squad to shine ahead of the Premier 15s’ return at the end of November.

Kick off at Twyford Avenue is at 13:30.
