Sgt Dan Lewis (RAMC) is set for his Championship debut for London Scottish this weekend.
The second rower joined the Exiles in the summer, but has not seen action in the team’s opening four games of the league campaign.
London Scottish have struggled to gain momentum this season, despite having an experienced Director of Rugby in the form of Bryan Redpath, and have made a number of changes to the match day squad as they try and snap their losing streak when they welcome Coventry to the Richmond Athletic Ground.
Saturday’s game provides a red shirt head-to-head, as Coventry have included Gnr Senitiki Nayalo (7 Para RHA) in their back row.
Gnr Nayalo has impressed in blue and white this season, and was awarded the club’s Player of the Month award for his September performances.
Coventry have a pair of wins and two losses from their four matches, with Gnr Nayalo scoring the team’s only try in a home defeat to Ealing Trailfinders last weekend.
But the young squad which has been assembled at Butts Park Arena has shown plenty of character, too, not least in the Round 3 come-from-behind win over Ampthill.
Kick off at the Richmond Athletic Ground on Saturday is at 1500hrs.
