The Rugby Football Union outlined last week that with the exception of Premiership, Championship, Premier 15s and Elite15s rugby, no organised RFU or non-RFU Leagues, adult or age grade competitions will be played before January 2021 at the earliest.
Therefore regrettably, the Army Rugby Union along with the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force Rugby Unions confirm that no U23 Inter Service competition will take place for the 2020-21 season.
The ARU will apply to HQ Army Sport Control Board and Army HQ for approval for the re-commencement of Representative rugby in the Army (Corps level and above) once the National Governing Body has issued authorisation in it’s return to play procedure. Until this time, all representative rugby remains suspended.
Ready for Rugby has been approved at Unit Level only, full details and information can be found here; Ready for Rugby at Unit Level
